Journeys with our pets take us to so many beautiful places. Whether it's beach runs, forest walks or racing around your favourate field, every moment is special.
Outdoor photo shoots encourage pets and owners to be themselves in a relaxed, judgement free environment. Compared to traditional studio photography, these outdoor shoots aim to capture natural images of your pets playing, exploring or chilling out. This enables their genuine character, personality and natural expression to be photographed alongside moments that their owners will cherish forever.
Based in Poole, we are privileged to be on the doorstep of many stunning outdoor locations including the Jurassic coast, Bournemouth beach, Sandbanks, Cranbourne Chase and the New Forest. As an animal lover, I am happy to photograph all sorts of animals, not just dogs. The welfare of the animal is always the priority in photo shoots and we can have a chat about the individual requirements for you and your pet before the photo shoot. While there is a general time given for photo shoots, I can make these longer or shorter based on the needs of your animal. I offer various packages to include digital downloads, video and portrait painting so that you have best moments captured of you and your pets in a form that suits you.

- Choose one of your images to be made into a A4 sized watercolour painting. Price includes one animal. (Contact to upgrade to a bigger size or add more animals).
Additional extras

- Want to add video? Get 10 fully edited video clips between 10-20 seconds for an additional charge of £100. Please note that this will add an extra 30-60 minutes onto the shooting time.
- Add an A5 pen and watercolour piece of your pet for £20 (unframed).
-£1 per mile charge if travelling outside of 20 miles of Poole.
- Maximum 3 animals per shoot. £50 charge per extra animal.​

How far do you travel?​
Fees include travel to a location 20 miles away from Poole. Extra travel is charged at £1 per return mile. Alternatively, you could come to me! Locations include New Forest, Jurassic Coast, Bournemouth and Cranbourne Chase.

Do you only photograph dogs?
No, any animal is welcome! As a wildlife photographer I have photographed lots of different animals so I am used to working with different subjects. Your animal could be chickens, horses or cats!

How will I get my photos?
I will send you a WeTransfer link with your photos and videos to be downloaded within 3 days of receipt. You can request a USB which I can post or deliver to you.

My dog is not good off the lead...
Not a problem. I can remove the lead in editing software if you wish.

What should I bring?
Bring your favourite toys and treats. Also bring water for your dog, especially if it is a hot day.

What time of day will the photoshoot be?
Morning and evening during "golden hour" are ideal shoot times. However we can be flexible with times and work around your schedule and the needs of your animal.

What happens if it rains?
We will keep a close eye on the weather and reschedule if necessary at no extra cost.

Why should I pay for pet photography? Can't I just take photographs on my phone?
Photographs taken on the phone are great for everyday shots! Professional photography offers high quality images of your beloved animal that can be treasured forever including action shots of your animal living their best life!
